The Universal Waite Tarot Deck is a gentle and refreshed version of the classic Rider Waite deck. Originally created by A. E. Waite and Pamela Colman Smith, this version features softer colouring by artist Mary Hanson-Roberts.
The deck keeps all the traditional symbolism of the Rider-Waite-Smith system. However, the updated colours bring a warmer and more inviting feel. Hanson-Roberts uses a natural palette that softens the imagery without losing detail or meaning.
