WHY I CREATED THE TAROT BOX
When I first learnt Tarot more than 30 years ago, we didn’t rush through the Major Arcana trying to memorise all of the meanings. We spent a whole week with each card, giving us time to explore its imagery and symbolism, think about what it represented and really get to know it.
That way of learning stayed with me. Tarot became much more than a set of meanings to remember. The cards became familiar, and I began to understand how their symbolism, stories and messages could relate to real life.
That is why I created The Tarot Box. I wanted to give you the opportunity to slow down and spend time with the Major Arcana in the same way, one card at a time. Each month, I’ll guide you through a new card, helping you understand its story and symbolism, connect with it personally and explore how you can work with its message in your own life.
Whether you are completely new to Tarot or have been reading for years, my hope is that by the end of our journey you won’t simply know the Major Arcana. You’ll have developed a deeper, more personal relationship with the cards and a greater confidence in working with them.

You don’t need to be an experienced Tarot reader to enjoy The Tarot Box. Each month is designed to be friendly, practical and easy to follow, whether you’re just getting to know the cards or you’ve been reading Tarot for years. There’s no right or wrong way to work through the experience, and no homework to complete. Take your time, explore what interests you and make the experience your own.
All you need is a Rider Waite Smith Tarot deck, or a deck that follows the Rider Waite Smith imagery closely, a little curiosity and some time for yourself.

What is The Tarot Box?
The Tarot Box is a monthly journey through the Major Arcana, exploring one card at a time. Each month we take time to discover the card’s story, imagery, symbolism and meaning, before finding ways to connect with it and work with its message personally. You can join the journey through either the physical Collector’s Edition or the Digital Edition.
What is the difference between the Collector’s Edition and the Digital Edition?
Both editions follow the same monthly journey through the Major Arcana.
The Collector’s Edition is a physical box containing the monthly guidebook, access to the guided meditation, practical activities and a carefully chosen collection of products inspired by that month’s Major Arcana card.
The Digital Edition gives you instant online access to the monthly interactive guidebook, guided meditation, Tarot exercises and printable resources, without the physical products.
The Collector’s Edition is available within the UK and costs £29.95 per month including postage. The Digital Edition is available worldwide and costs £9.95 per month.
What if I join later? Can I still start with The Magician?
Yes, while stocks last. Each month we keep back one or two Collector’s Boxes so that new subscribers have the opportunity to begin their journey with earlier Major Arcana cards. Once these boxes have sold, however, they will not be recreated. Each Collector’s Edition contains items chosen specifically for that particular Major Arcana card, and we may not be able to source the same products again.
If you would like to begin with The Magician, or catch up on any boxes you have missed, simply contact us to check which previous Collector’s Editions are still available. If the physical Collector’s Edition is no longer available, the Digital Edition may still be available to purchase, allowing you to experience the same Major Arcana journey through the guidebook, guided meditation and printable resources.
Is The Tarot Box available outside the UK?
The physical Tarot Box Collector’s Edition is currently available within the UK only. However, The Tarot Box Digital Edition is available worldwide, allowing you to follow the same monthly Major Arcana journey through the guidebook, guided meditation, Tarot exercises and printable resources.
Do I need to be an experienced tarot reader?
Not at all. The Tarot Box has been designed to be friendly, practical and easy to follow whether you are completely new to Tarot, developing your existing knowledge or have been reading the cards for years. There is no homework and no right or wrong way to work through each month. Take your time, explore what interests you and make the experience your own.
Will I need a particular Tarot deck?
We recommend using the Rider Waite Smith Tarot, or a deck that follows the Rider Waite Smith imagery closely. Throughout our journey we will be exploring the imagery and symbolism within the cards as well as their meanings, so using a deck based on the same system will help you get the most from the experience.
What's inside the Collector's Edition?
Each Collector’s Edition contains a guidebook, access to the monthly guided meditation, practical activities and a carefully chosen collection of Tarot treasures inspired by that month’s Major Arcana card. The contents change each month, and we deliberately keep some of them a surprise so that opening your box remains part of the experience.
When will my Collector's Edition be delivered?
Subscriptions renew on the 1st of each month and we aim to dispatch Collector’s Editions during the first few days of the month using Royal Mail Tracked 48. We aim for your box to arrive by the 7th of the month, although delivery times can occasionally vary.
When will I receive my Digital Edition?
You will receive instant access to your first Digital Edition when you subscribe. New Digital Editions are then released during the first week of each month as we continue our journey through the Major Arcana. Your Digital Edition will be available through your account on The Tarot Shop UK website.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account on The Tarot Shop UK website. Simply cancel before your next renewal date if you do not wish to receive the following month’s edition.
