While rooted in the Rider Waite Smith system, the structure of the deck expands in meaningful ways. The Major Arcana is presented as allies, challenges, virtues, and cosmic forces, offering a broader archetypal framework for understanding life’s experiences. The Minor Arcana follows the elemental paths of earth, air, water, and fire, with court cards inspired by characters from Arthurian and Grail lore.
As you work with the cards, you’ll encounter familiar figures such as King Arthur, Guinevere, Lancelot, Galahad, and the heroine Dindraine, each woven into the symbolism of the deck.
