When I first learned tarot, the world was a very different place. There were no YouTube tutorials, no printable decks, and no online communities, just a couple of second hand books and a lot of trial and error. That is one of the reasons I created The Tarot Shop UK, to be a warm and welcoming space for anyone who loves the cards, whether you are just starting out, returning to tarot after a break, or simply enjoy discovering your next beautiful deck.

The Tarot Knowledgebase is here to help you learn tarot in a way that feels practical, supportive, and easy to follow. It brings together the things I wish I had when I was learning, simple guidance, helpful tools, and gentle confidence builders to help you develop your own relationship with the cards.

One of my favourite ways to teach tarot is to think of the keywords as the alphabet of the cards. Once you learn the alphabet, you can begin to read spreads like a book, with each layout telling its own story. You will also find my YouTube tutorials playlist, where I talk through card meanings, simple spreads, and intuitive reading techniques, along with regular deck walk throughs so you can see the cards up close before choosing your next deck.
