When I first learned tarot, the world was a very different place. No YouTube tutorials, no printable decks, no online communities — just a couple of second-hand books and a lot of guessing. I created The Tarot Shop as a space for anyone who loves the cards: complete beginners, returning readers, or anyone who simply delights in discovering the next beautiful deck.

This section of the site is here to help you learn tarot in a way that’s practical, encouraging, and grounded. I’ve pulled together everything I wish I’d had when I was starting out — tips, tools, and little confidence-boosters to help you build your own connection with the cards.

Here, you’ll find:

  • A link to my full 7-module beginner course

  • A friendly, ever-growing blog packed with real-life advice and things I’ve picked up from 30 years of reading

  • A whole collection of free printables — including journaling pages, spread templates, and a cut-out mini Rider-Waite deck you can stick into a notebook or turn into flashcards

One of my favourite ways to teach tarot is by seeing the keywords as the alphabet of the cards — learn the alphabet, and you can begin to read tarot spreads, just like a book, each one tells a story.  If that approach speaks to you, there’s a printable cheatsheet available under the Free Downloads section to help you start building those core meanings.

You’ll also find a tutorials playlist on my YouTube channel, where I talk through card meanings, spreads, and how to read intuitively — plus regular unboxings so you can see the decks up close before buying.

And soon (if the stars align), I’ll be launching The Tarot School UK — a new space for bite-sized, beginner-friendly courses you can take at your own pace.
