RETURNS

We want you to be delighted with every purchase you make from The Tarot Shop UK. All items can be returned or exchanged provided they are in their original condition and resaleable. 

Please note that items must be returned within 30 days of the original purchase date. Please include the original packaging and any enclosed documentation in the return. Where items are received in their original condition, and in accordance with the above, a full refund will be issued on receipt. If the item is not returned in its original condition and is unsaleable we will be unable to authorise a refund.

The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we, therefore, recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that provides insurance for the value of the goods. Please always arrange proof of posting (available free of charge at post office counters) when returning goods. This does not affect your statutory rights.

FAULTY OR WRONG ITEM

If the item you received is faulty or is not what you originally ordered, please email us quoting your order number, your name and address, details of the product, and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return.

DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS

Under the United Kingdom’s Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased from us for a full refund. This does not apply to items that have been unsealed and cannot be resold. Order cancellations must be in writing, quoting your order number, name and address, within 7 days of delivery of your item(s), and can be sent by e-mail. Once you have cancelled your order, the goods should be returned to our address, in their original condition, within 10 days of receipt. The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures the value of the goods.

RETURN POSTAGE

If you are returning an item to us for a refund or an exchange, then the cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility. If the item you received is faulty or is not what you originally ordered, please contact us via e-mail quoting your order number, your name and address, and details of the product. You will then be advised on how to proceed with the return.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

RETURNS AND REFUND POLICY

Our returns and refund policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products

Please do not send your purchase back to the publisher.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

REFUNDS

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

  • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
  • Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send an email to maria@the-tarot-shop.co.uk and return your item to The Tarot Shop, Earlsland Cottage, West End Road, Bradninch, Exeter EX5 4QP.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to The Tarot Shop, Earlsland Cottage, West End Road, Bradninch, Exeter EX5 4QP.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning the item(s) because shipping costs are non-refundable. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
