Order Acknowledgement
Your order will be acknowledged through email if you have entered the correct email address. and goods dispatched upon payment. No order will be deemed to constitute a contract of sale irrespective of the manner of its transmission to The Tarot Shop UK until the Goods are dispatched.
Payment
Payment is made by your preferred payment gateway available at checkout.
Prices
All prices displayed include VAT where appropriate at a rate of 20%. This rate is dictated by the UK Government and The Tarot Shop UK may alter prices accordingly should the need arise. Shipping prices have been calculated using a Flat Rate Fee for a small package, under 1kg in weight for simplicity. In the unlikely event that a package exceeds 2KG, you will be contacted to discuss an alternative shipping method/cost and we will place the order on hold until we have reached you. You will be given the option to pay the additional shipping charge we will incur or take advantage of a non nonsense refund.
Delivery
Orders are processed on receipt daily, Monday – Friday. Orders received during the weekend will be despatched the following Monday. Orders are not processed on a Bank Holiday.
All goods are delivered by DPD Next Day for UK Mainland packages. Please note that once the goods are posted The Tarot Shop UK passes the responsibility for delivery to DPD and cannot be responsible for delays. If there is a significant delay DPD will follow their set protocol to locate the missing parcel.
The Tarot Shop UK is not liable for any losses, expenses or consequential loss incurred by the Buyer or any other person or company however arising whether directly or indirectly out of a failure to meet any estimated delivery date.
International Deliveries
Please refer to this document to advise on which countries are included. It is the buyer’s responsibility to pay their local government taxes as these vary from country to country. Your order will be held by Customs until you have settled their fees at which point our courier will collect and deliver your parcel to your chosen address. If you refuse payment the process is to return the order to The Tarot Shop UK. Once the item is back with us we will issue a refund minus the transportation costs incurred to deliver and return the package.
Returned Goods
Notification of damage of wrongly shipped goods or incompletely shipped goods should be made within 30 days of delivery. Any claim made outside of 30 days will not be accepted. If the Buyer changes their mind after delivery, goods must be returned in the original packaging, with unbroken seals/cellophane wrap at the Buyers’ expense. Upon satisfactory receipt of a resaleable item, a full refund will be issued.
The Buyer will be liable for the cost of remedying damage to returned goods where such damage has in the opinion of the Seller been caused by the goods being inadequately packaged by the Buyer.
Cancellation
Your rights under the UK’s Distance Selling Regulations are respected and retained at the Tarot Shop UK. If you change your mind before the item has been dispatched please contact us, by email at maria@the-tarot-shop.co.uk, title your email ‘Urgent Cancellation Request’ and send the email as soon as possible, quoting your Order Number.
If you change your mind upon receipt, please refer to the above for guidance. If the product meets its original packaging requirements contact us by email at maria@the-tarot-shop.co.uk requesting a Returns Reference Number. This will be provided upon request including the correct postal address.
Legal Liability
Under legal liability the Tarot Shop UK cannot be held liable for injury or negative consequence of any product it sells. The Buyer is advised to follow and be governed by English law on the use of any products provided by the Seller.
Acceptance of terms
By placing an order with the-tarot-shop.co.uk you are agreeing to be bound by our terms and conditions, which does not affect your statutory rights as a customer.
